Man charged after cannabis farm found in derelict pub

A man is due to appear in court in connection with a cannabis farm discovered by police in an old pub in Tameside. A total of 200 plants were found inside the former Woodman Inn on Oldham Road, Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester Police revealed on Friday, May 26.

Pilaver Adushaj, 37, of no fixed abode, has been charged with production of cannabis and remanded into custody. Inside, more than 200 plants were recovered and taken away. In a social media post on Facebook, GMP Tameside North and East said: "Pilaver Adushaj (19/01/86), of NFA, has been charged with production of cannabis and remanded into custody to appear in court.
