Man charged in connection with death of Rutherglen father after mass disturbance

A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a Rutherglen father.At around 7pm on Tuesday, October 24, officers were called to reports of a disturbance on Farmeloan Road, at the junction with Victoria Street.Stuart McGeachie was assaulted outside premises on Farmeloan Road before making his way to a nearby flat, where he was pronounced dead.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
