A mum has spoken of her shock at an act of kindness after a shop manager went out of her way to buy an extra special birthday present from her five-year-old daughter.

Fiona Rush had taken her daughter Trinity shopping when the child found she didn't have enough money to buy the items for her mum she wanted, reports Belfast Live.

However a kind-hearted shop manager at Home Bargains took her by the hand and brought her round the store to find items which she could afford.Fiona says she was blown away by the manager's customer service and explained how it has encouraged her to shop in stores more often, rather than shopping online."My birthday was coming up and my child was asking me what I would like for my birthday.

She is only five years old and I told her that all I needed was a big hug. She got a few pounds from trick or treating and had been saving up her coins in her wee handbag and asked if I could take her to the shops," she said."I asked her what we needed and she said that she just wanted to get something.
