Man and woman charged in connection with 'suspicious' death of Kerry Newman
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA man and woman have been charged in connection with the 'suspicious' death of a mum in Rochdale. Kerry Newman's body was found on a footpath near Ashfield Valley Primary School and the Sandbrook Retail Park on Monday morning (July 17).
The 40-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene on New Barn Lane. Greater Manchester Police's Major Incident Team launched an investigation, with her death being treated as 'suspicious'.

Robert Halliwell, 48, and Melanie Bullen, 52, have both been charged with perverting the course of justice. Halliwell, of Onley, Freehold, Rochdale, and Bullen, of Shirburn, Freehold, Rochdale, will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court today.
