Louis Walsh reveals staggering pay cheque for Celebrity Big Brother stint as he admits 'they really wanted me'
ok.co.ukLouis Walsh has spilled the beans on the staggering amount of money he pocketed for his stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house.The star-studded series made a comeback to our screens last month after a six-year break, with Louis among the famous faces to enter the house.
During his time in the house, Louis repeatedly made headlines as he sparked feuds with a number of stars who were not in the house.
Among these were Jedward, who he labelled "vile", and Ronan Keating who he said "hasn't had a hit record" since sacking Louis as his manager.The former X Factor judge subsequently finished in fourth place and it was rumoured that he had bagged over half a million euros for simply just walking into the house.
Discussing his decision to appear in the show, the Irish star told the Sunday Independent: "[ITV] convinced me.They said I was going to be safe; it was going to be fun, that I would probably win it." However, Louis says that he wasn't really interested in winning, as he continued: "They said they really, really wanted me.They kept on at me, and still I said no, because I was scared.
