Rangers Women boss Jo Potter insists she never felt her team were in any danger, after two late goals against bitter rivals Celtic were enough to seal their place in the Scottish Cup final.Despite having the better of the chances, the Light Blues had to wait until the 85th minute to finally open the scoring, when Chelsea Cornett rose well to brilliantly head home from a corner.
The victory was then wrapped up a minute from time when Kirsty Howat broke clear to beat Hoops stopper Kelsey Daugherty with an exquisite lob.
Although they left it late in the Hampden sunshine, Rangers gaffer Potter felt they were always in control and pointed to her team's superior fitness levels compared to their Old Firm counterparts.
Speaking to BBC Scotland, she said: "I wasn't worried. I know we are fitter. I knew we'd get more chances. I said to the players at half-time I couldn't remember a stage where they worried us. "The game was there for the taking and it was just about who wanted to be the player to step up and do that.
