England goalkeeper for the male team Jordan Pickford receives £5.2 million a year from his deal with Everton, while female England goalkeeper Mary Earps is estimated to earn around £150,000 from her contract with Manchester United, reports The Times.
The average annual salary in England’s top tier of women’s football was estimated at between £25,000 and £27,000 last year. Meanwhile, the Premier League equivalent figure exceeded £3million.These estimates mean that some of the game’s top female players are estimated to receive in a year what a male player will earn in a week.
