Hearts have been dealt a European blow with red tape denying them the chance to unleash Japanese striker Kyosuke Tagawa on Rosenborg.The 24-year-old has failed to have his visa processed in time to face the Norwegians tomorrow night in a Europa Conference League third round, first-leg qualifier.
Tagawa made his debut in the Tynecastle club's Premiership opener against St Johnstone where he came on as a second-half substitute in the 2-0 win but failed to travel with the team to Trondheim this afternoon.
The required paperwork is not in place for the hitman who last week arrived in Edinburgh on a four-year deal from FC Tokyo. Fellow new signing Kenneth Vargas was also absent from the flight to Norway and will have to wait to make his first appearance after making the switch from C.S.
Herediano. It had always been expected the Costa Rican wouldn't be a part of the away tie against Rosenborg. The Scottish FA have given the green light and Hearts are now just waiting for his work permit to be approved.
