King Charles was presented with a handmade crown by a four-year-old girl during a touching encounter despite his own coronation at a historic ceremony.The heart-warming moment occurred last October when the monarch visited the new Priscilla Bacon Lodge hospice to inaugurate the facility where patients enjoy a special mid-morning perk - the option of a drink from a hospice trolley.Little Arielle Bayliss, whose mother Rebecca Turner is battling stage three melanoma, crafted a paper crown for the monarch.

The room was filled with joy as everyone donned colourful crowns created in a craft session with a hospice volunteer, the Mirror reports.Arielle offered the crown on a blanket to the monarch and upon Charles's gratitude, "Is that for me, thank you very much, did you put that together? "The youngster left everyone laughing when she then took the blanket away and handed it to her mother.

Ms Turner, 31, accompanied by her partner Jonathan Bayliss and her mother Nicki Turner in her private room, shared her journey with the King as she said: "I've been on a roller coaster of up and down but I'm very happy here." She expressed feeling like royalty herself, mentioning, "And the staff, I feel like I'm a princess we have Baileys at 11 o'clock."
