A judge fired a powerful warning as he jailed two killers - including a social media knife dealer - who struck the day after violence erupted on Manchester's streets.

Mr Justice Goose spoke out as he jailed Demari Rose, 20, and Xavaiour Wynter, 21, for the killing of 21-year-old Salah Adam in Trafford.

Over the course of a trial at Manchester Crown Court, jurors heard details of a criminal underworld that Rose and Wynter had become affiliated to.

Rose told the court he now regretted his 'impulsive' decision to sell dangerous knives in Manchester using Snapchat. In one message read to the court, Rose said he was selling '22 inch rams', meaning 'Rambo knives'.
