Josh Kerr woke with a banging head less than 12 hours after seeing his 1500m gold medal hopes given the boot by Cole Hocker’s massive kick.But he insists the pain was nothing to do with the agonising blow delivered by the American which saw the title he so badly craved slip through his fingers in the final 30m of the race of his life.
