Dancer Jordan Banjo, who became famous for performing on Britain's Got Talent, has revealed he was forced to move house after his family had been terrorised.
He came under attack following Diversity’s Black Lives Matter inspired performance on the popular talent show. The 30-year-old is part of the successful dance troupe, with brother Ashley Banjo.
The group took to the stage in September 2020 in a routine designed to highlight racial inequalities and injustice. Ofcom received over 30,000 complaints following the show, while Diversity faced a fierce backlash.
Racist and violent threats were made against members on social media, the Mirror reports. Speaking about the consequences of the routine, Jordan, who was living in the house with his wife and young children, told MailOnline: “It was really scary, I had to move house, I remember I came out one time and there was cement thrown at my car. “In the end, because I'm not there a lot I had to move house.
