Maybe even a highland cow, a kilted bagpipe player or the Loch Ness Monster.However, a Broxburn-based tattoo artist has gone viral for incorporating all of these into one leg sleeve - and much more besides.In late July, Louise "Scoobs" Marklew - who goes by @Scoobstattoo on Tiktok and operates out of Ego Trip Ink in Broxburn, West Lothian - shared a video titled: "Loved making this Scottish-themed leg sleeve.
This was six hours tattooing."In the caption card at the beginning of the video, she explains that the customer had asked for "a trashy Scottish leg sleeve with some colour." She then shows off the results, set to the incredibly patriotic song Home by Nathan Evans: an amazing mash-up of Scottish landmarks and landscapes, plus a thistle, a Saltire, a Highland Cow, a kilted piper and a graffiti slogan that reads "o flower of Scotland" in capital letters.There's so much going on that it almost shouldn't work...
but it definitely does.People flocked to the comment section to share their thoughts about the tattoo. One woman wrote: "I wish I had a blank leg, this is amazing, puts my wee Scots flag to shame." Another simply said: "That is the best tattoo I've ever seen."The happy customer also left his feedback, writing: "Can’t thank u enough Scoobs, unbelievable work as always from yourself!!
