Their romance was said to be heating up to the point that the pair joined Melanie's bandmate Victoria Beckham and her husband David for a Christmas getaway in Ireland.But things turned sour after Robbie's 'very public marathon bender' at Groucho club in London, with Melanie saying she struggled to 'tame' him.
