Hunky Too Hot To Handle star in horror moped smash
ok.co.ukDavid Birtwhistle, a contestant from the first season of Netflix reality show Too Hot To Handle, was involved in a motorbike accident earlier this week.The 34 year old reality star took to Instagram Stories on Saturday to share his experience with his 776,000 followers.
He admitted that he had "become lazy" on the road and ended up crashing into the front of a van.The Netflix heartthrob posted pictures of his wrecked bike and confessed that he was "lucky" the incident wasn't more severe.
David shared: "A couple of days ago I was in a moped crash in London." He explained that despite the initial adrenaline rush, he later realised something was wrong when his knee started to swell and become painful.
Detailing the accident, David said: "After coming round a corner and a van being in the middle of the road, I skidded and hit the front bumper and wheel," He added that the collision happened quickly, but thankfully neither party was going too fast and the damage to the van was minor.
