Households with an air fryer in the kitchen have been issued a warning over the types of foods that shouldn't be cooked in them.

Families have been urged to take care with their air fryers and refrain from using the devices and handy gadgets in the kitchen for certain dishes and foodstuffs. "Air fryers have become a staple in many British households thanks to their affordability and quick cooking.

"While an air fryer is great for cooking a wide variety of food, there are some items you really shouldn’t be cooking in an air fryer."
