Talks are now advancing between the two clubs and an agreement is expected to be agreed that will see the North Macedonian agree a move to the La Liga outfit. Record Sport revealed how Girona had come back in with a second bid of a guaranteed £4.2 million last week.
Aberdeen director of football Stephen Gunn and chief executive Alan Burrows have since worked that deal up. The Dons will get that fee upfront and will also get significant add-ons, which could net them £3 million more based on appearance and other different elements.
There is talks over a sell-on, which is likely to be about 15 per cent. Several Italian clubs have also come to the table in the last 72 hours but Miovski has made it clear that he wants the move to Champions League-bound Girona.Miovski came off the bench as a late sub in the weekend win over St Mirren.
He was emotionally given a standing ovation and an amazing send off from the Red Army. He moved from MTK for just over £500,000 two years ago.Aberdeen are now set to make a massive profit on that deal.
