A nursing student was forced to abandon her dream career after a horrific accident on an inflatable slide. The nightmare fall resulted in a fractured back and daily seizures, which she compared to "something off The Exorcist".

Kerry Woodhouse, 45, from Telford, suffered a fall from a slide landing on a "hard floor" in June 2016. She began experiencing seizures and by February 2017, she had become a full-time wheelchair user.

In the same month, she was diagnosed with functional neurological disorder, a condition that affects how the brain processes and sends information throughout the body, causing her seizures.

Kerry said: "My whole body would contort, my jaw would stretch as if it was going to snap, my legs and arms would flip up. My feet would twist inwards, I completely flipped over. "They were quite violent, really the only way to describe it was (like) something off The Exorcist." READ MORE: No teeth, no dentist, no food In June 2016, Kerry found herself in a park and being a self-admitted "big kid" she decided to join one of her friend's kids on a 10-foot inflatable slide.
