Framestore Company 3 Group Appoints Lincoln Wallen as Chief Technology Officer

Jamie Lang Framestore Company 3 Group (FC3) has appointed Lincoln Wallen as its new group chief technology officer. FC3 is best known for color grading and has done high-profile work on upcoming animated and live-action titles, including “Deadpool & Wolverine,” “Wicked,” “Transformers: One” and “Despicable Me.” The latter two are getting special presentations at this week’s Annecy Animation Festival.

In his new position, Wallen is tasked with finding and facilitating new strategic partnerships across business, technology and academia.

He will also work to enhance the company’s existing relationships with other studios, institutions and brands to better leverage and maximize their properties.

He will work closely with Framestore CEO Mel Sullivan and Company 3 Group CEO Stefan Sonnenfeld. In a release, Wallen said of his new workplace: “Framestore Company 3 Group has long been a market leader across film, TV, advertising and immersive experiences.
