The Walking Dead's Andrew Lincoln lands role in ITV thriller with Trainspotting star

Andrew Lincoln, famed for his role in The Walking Dead, is set to star in the new ITV thriller Cold Water.The announcement came today (June 27) from ITV Drama, revealing that the series has been greenlit and will be penned by the award-winning playwright David Ireland, with production by Sister.Andrew will portray John, a character grappling with repression and a sudden mid-life crisis.His journey begins after he fails to intervene in a violent incident, which triggers an identity crisis, leading him to leave London for the seemingly tranquil Scottish town of Cold Water.

However, his search for peace quickly spirals into something far more sinister.
