AN Escape to the Country buyer was left stunned by what she had found in a house on the show. The BBC show saw a woman was on the hunt for her perfect home in the southern Cotswolds countryside.

Host, Alistair Appleton took Xiaonan and her daughter, Xinyi to view three properties. The first property impressed the mother and daughter, but there was one problem.

Just minutes into her house hunt, the woman found something shocking. Inside the wall of a house, Xianon discovered a pair of old shoes that looked like they belonged to children.
