Emmerdale star Liam Fox has been seen in tears as he reacted to an emotional tribute from his co-star as he left the soap after 12 years.
The actor has spent more than a decade in the fictional Yorkshire village playing Dan Spencer. But his time and freedom in the Dales came to a sad end during Thursday night's instalment of the ITV soap (August 17) as Dan was sentenced to a lengthy prison stint following the death of Lloyd Sawyer.
Last month, the mechanic was seen losing his temper with Amelia’s stalker Lloyd after previously ordering him to stay away. While at work at the garage, Dan saw Lloyd leave the church with Amelia before the pair embraced after having what later transpired to be an emotional heart-to-heart.
But as Lloyd goaded Dan, telling him he can't control Amelia and that he was probably going to see 'a lot more' of him, Dan snapped and punched him in the face leaving Lloyd to fall before hitting his head on a rock.
