During the latest trip to the Dales on Tuesday night (March 19), Tom King's hidden abuse of his new wife Belle continued. As fans of the ITV soap know, Emmerdale will explore the nature of coercive control in a domestic abuse plotline involving the newly married couple.
Belle was reunited with Tom last year when he unexpectedly returned to the village but concerns about their relationship among viewers have been rife since his shock outburst back in October.
During the latest episode, Tom told Belle he had to leave the veterinary surgery due to an animal emergency, leaving Belle in charge of the reception.
