Hazel Grove MP William Wragg has apologised over his involvement in a sexting scandal that targeted fellow MPs. It is reported that police are investigating after politicians were targeted and sent flirtatious messages.

Mr Wragg, who is chairman of a Commons select committee, reportedly toldthe Times that he had provided the personal phone numbers of colleagues to a man who he had been chatting to on gay dating app Grindr.
