A dog walker told Brianna Ghey to 'hang in there' after he discovered her bloodied body in a park, her murder trial has heard.

Andrew Vize was out for a walk with his wife Kathryn and their two dogs when they found her in Culcheth Linear Park near Warrington.

Brianna, 16, a transgender girl, had died after being stabbed 28 times in the head, neck, back and chest, a jury at Manchester Crown Court has been told.

Two teenagers, both aged 16, known in press reports as Girl X and Boy Y, deny murder. Girl X, from Culcheth, and Boy Y, from Leigh, cannot be named due to legal reasons.
