Diners try to skip £300 restaurant bill as they 'didn't enjoy meal'

Six diners who ‘legged it’ out of a restaurant to dodge paying a £300 bill were hauled back by police and forced to pay up that same night.

The group had refused to cough up for their food and drinks claiming they hadn't enjoyed their night before being marched back by police to pay up.

After being turned away from a nearby pub, cops found them at their hotel and escorted them back to the eatery around midnight to pay what they owed, the Daily Record reports. One of the group then came up to the bar and said they were not going to pay the remaining £300.” This sparked a stand-off as Janie insisted they couldn't just walk out without paying.
