UPDATED 10:00 a.m. PT: London’s Met Police is investigating comedian Dane Baptiste following a now-deleted death threat posted on Instagram that was aimed at a fellow comic. “Enquiries are being made in relation to a post reported to police by a number of social media users on Wednesday 1 May,” a Met spokesman told Deadline. “We have since made contact with a number of people who are helping our enquiries.

We would continue to urge anyone who has information which could help our enquiries to contact police.” PREVIOUS; EXCLUSIVE: British comedian Dane Baptiste has been dropped by his agencies and “apologised profusely” via a statement after making an antisemitic death threat towards a female comic, which has been reported to the Met Police.
