Hibernian manager Lee Johnson used Manchester United loanee Will Fish as a damning example to criticise his players following their Scottish Premiership opening day defeat by St Mirren last weekend.

The Edinburgh outfit, who re-signed Fish on loan for the duration of the season last month, were beaten 3-2 on their own patch, marking the worst possible start to the campaign that they could have wished for.

After finding themselves 2-0 down after just 17 minutes, Hibs clawed it back to 2-2 with just eight minutes of normal time left on the clock.

However, Alex Greive netted an 89th-minute winner to seal all three points for St Mirren, leaving Johnson seething with his players following the full-time whistle, accusing them of failing to do enough.
