Coronation Street star Charlotte Jordan has admitted her 'selfish' requests for her character's future while also teasing the 'methods' used by Daisy Midgeley and Jenny Connor to buy back the Rovers Return.

With a broken heart following her split from fiance Daniel Osbourne, Daisy will be looking to throw her attention into the iconic boozer as it opens in time for a New Year's Eve celebration.

Just before Christmas, Jenny and Daisy tell Dee-Dee Bailey that they’re off to the bank hoping to secure a loan to buy the Rovers.

Back In the Kabin, they break the news to Brian Packham and Mary Taylor that the bank agreed to the loan and the pub will soon be theirs.
