Coronation Street airs sad exit for one character after hard-hitting storyline
ok.co.ukCoronation Street aired an emotional exit for Ryan Connor on Monday night. During the latest episode, Ryan headed off to Ireland to stay with his mum Michelle Connor, who was previously played by Kym Marsh, after a tough few weeks on the cobbles.
Soap watchers will recall that Ryan was the victim of an acid attack earlier this year after he protected Daisy Midgeley from her stalker Justin Rutherford.
In recent episodes, Ryan has been slowly recovering from the harrowing attack and struggling to accept his scars. While Ryan has also been involved in a love triangle with Daisy and her fiancé Daniel Osbourne after Daisy pretended to be Ryan's former love interest Crystal.
During Monday's episode, Ryan decided to take a break from the cobbles as he headed to Ireland to stay with his mum Michelle.
