Brendan Rodgers has told his Celtic players to forget the past if they want to continue their success.The Irishman is seven weeks into his second spell in charge of the champions after replacing Ange Postecoglou in the summer.
The Aussie, who left for Tottenham Hotspur, famously admitted he didn’t get too close to his charges and preferred to keep a professional distance.
Rodgers takes an alternative approach, getting to know his men as individuals so as to better understand what makes them and the team tick.No-one can say Postecoglou was wrong.
He won five out of six domestic trophies during his time in Glasgow, including a Treble last season. But Rodgers also knows what it takes to rack up the silverware from his first time in the hot seat.
