Coronation Street fans ask how can they 'live happy' after being left distracted during sad Ryan Connor exit

Coronation Street fans have been left saddended by a sudden exit and hope that Ryan Connor won't be away for long. During the first trip to the cobbles this week, viewers saw him decide to say goodbye to Weatherfield as he focuses on his recovery.

In May, viewers of the ITV soap were horrified when the former DJ was left with burns to his face and arm after he stepped in and took the brunt of the acid hurled at ex-Daisy by her stalker Justin Rutherford on her wedding day.

In shocking scenes, Daisy lept into action and dragged Ryan upstairs and into the shower as she called for help. Ryan was rushed to the hospital and has since faced challenges coming to terms with his injuries and also faced finding out that he was being catfished by Daisy as she pretended to be his former love interest, Crystal, after she headed back to work in Ibiza and pulled the job she had offered Ryan due to his accident. At the end of the episode, he was seen to bid farewell to the street including Carla, with Daisy Midgeley unable to get there to say her goodbyes in time.
