Comedian Richard Lewis shared that the last few years of his life have been rather difficult. The 75-year-old Curb Your Enthusiasm actor encountered a number of health issues that required him to get four consecutive surgeries. Richard then revealed he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. I said, ‘You know I’m at the top of my game, after 15 years almost I’m going to call it quits,’ and I felt great about that and then out of the blue the s— hit the fan.
I had four surgeries back to back to back to back, it was incredible, I couldn’t believe it, it was bad luck, but that’s life.” “I had back surgery, then I had a shoulder surgery, then I had a shoulder replacement surgery…oh and then I had a hip replacement,” Richard shared in a video on Twitter.
Shortly after that he noticed the way he was walking was different and went to a neurologist. After a brain scan, he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
