John Hopewell Chief International Correspondent Álvaro Morte, immortalized by his performance as the Professor in “Money Heist,” has inked a multi-year producing deal with Sony Pictures Television through his Madrid-based production company 300 Pistolas, which he founded alongside Blanca Clemente. The accord sees 300 Pistolas, a theater company, making the transition into producing scripted TV, with Morte developing English-language scripted series exclusively with SPT, which he and Clemente will serve on as producers via 300 Pistolas.  Morte and Clemente will have access to SPT’s development teams. SPT will serve as exclusive production and distribution partner to any projects produced under the deal, SPT confirmed Wednesday.

The film has begun its principal photography in Rome. The horror film depicts devoutly religious Cecilia (Sweeney) who receives an offer at an illustrious Italian convent. While seemingly picture-perfect, her new home in the Italian countryside holds some horrifying secrets. Morte’s credits include “Money Heist,” “Mirage,” “The Wheel of Time” and the upcoming series “Talkies.” Porcaroli has worked on projects such as “Perfect Strangers” “Baby,” “18 Presents” and the upcoming “Il Vangelo Secondo Maria.” Romano was featured in “The Hand of God,” “Perfume: The Story of a Murderer,” “Imma Tataranni – Deputy Prosecutor” and “Night Sun.” Colangeli’s credits include “Il Divo,” “Mindemic,” “Citizens of the World” and the upcoming “Castelrotto.” Sweeney’s acting work includes “Euphoria,” “The White Lotus” and “The Handmaid’s Tale.”

The final season of Netflix‘s La Casa De Papel (aka Money Heist) will debut part five in two separate installments a few months apart.

La Casa de Papel, better known in the English-speaking world as Money Heist, has wrapped on its fifth and final season for Netflix.

Money Heist is coming to an end.

Jamie Lang Netflix has revealed that the platform’s most successful Spanish-language series “Money Heist” (“Casa de papel”) will end with the conclusion of Part 5, tweeting on Friday that “The heist comes to an end.”Shooting is set to begin soon in Spain, Denmark and Portugal, with actors Miguel Ángel Silvestre, a Netflix alum of “Narcos” and “Sense8,” and Patrick Criado, most recently in Movistar Plus’ most-viewed original series “The Invisible Line,” joining the established and now iconic cast featuring Úrsula Coberó (Tokyo), Álvaro Morte (The Professor) , Itziar Ituño (Lisbon) and Pedro Alonso (Berlin) among others.“We’ve spent almost a year thinking about how to break up the band,” said creator and showrunner Alex Pina.

Actor Álvaro Morte, who plays the character of El Profesor in the popular Spanish series, Money Heist, recently shared an emotional video on Instagram from the last day of La Casa De Papel's shoot. The video features Álvaro on the set of the Spanish crime drama television series. In the clip, the 45-year-old actor can be seen hugging the executive producer of the series, Jesús Colmenar. As the two give each other a giant hug, the crew standing around them can be seen clapping.

The world is currently under a lockdown owing to the global outbreak of Coronavirus. To bring some cheer to the people under self-quarantine, Netflix released the fourth season of Money Heist also called La Casa de Papel. The actor who essays the lead part of Professor said in an interview to PTI that he took inspiration from the superheroes that exist in our universe. The actor who recently won the internet with his version of Bella Ciao said that he likes to study his characters deeply. Alvaro goes on to add that he added some physical gestures to the character of the Professor only after studying it internally.

Money Heist gave us two iconic songs: My Life Is Going On and Bella Ciao. While YouTube has several versions of My Life Is Going On, people cannot get enough of Bella Ciao. The Italian folk song was introduced on the show courtesy the Professor and Berlin. Today, the song has become synonymous with ‎La Casa de Papel. With Money Heist Season 4 releasing today, it goes without saying that we are humming the popular song. Turns out, fans aren't the only ones singing the song. 

*SPOILERS ALERT* For someone who is social distancing and enjoying the peace and quiet, there have been several suggestions pointed at me in terms of TV Shows to binge-watch during said free time, post work from home of course. One show that is topping my list so far has to be La Casa de Papel, better known as Money Heist. As someone who loves heist genre movies, at first glance, I thought it would like another Ocean's 11 rip-off. But, I was farther from the truth!

NETFLIX'S hit Money Heist will be coming back for season five and may even see the end of the tense bank siege. Known in its native Spanish as La Casa De Papel, the show about an elaborate bank robbery has become a global phenomenon.

The fifth season of the hit Netflix series Money Heist is in the works and Alvaro Morte, who plays The Professor, is opening up about what he thinks could happen.
