Alice Hamp, 30, threatened to kill herself after she was dropped by the 37-year old only to then beat him up when he agreed to meet her to see if she was OK.
Hamp, from Adlington near Macclesfield, had been seeing the man for about six months when he called her to let her know it was over.
But over the following few days she bombarded him with messages and calls, in which she threatened to crash her car so she would 'go home in a box'. After initially trying to ignore her, he became concerned for her welfare and ultimately agreed to meet with her when she threatened to commit suicide.
