Selome Hailu Season 9 of “Below Deck Mediterranean” is bringing in strong viewership not only compared to previous seasons of the series, but to the “Below Deck” franchise overall, according to Multiplatform + 35 data.
The first 14 episodes of the season averaged 3.4 million viewers when accounting for 35 days of viewership, with 1.7 million of those viewers falling into the key adults 18-49 demographic.
The final three episodes have yet to hit the 35-day mark, having aired on Sept. 9, 16 and 23. But provided that the season average remains steady, this will represent the best MP+35 viewership for any “Below Deck” series — including the flagship title plus “Below Deck Sailing Yacht,” “Below Deck Down Under” and “Below Deck Adventure” — since 2021, when “Below Deck Mediterranean” Season 6 hit a 35-day average of 3.5 million viewers (with 1.8 million among adults 18-49).
It’s unsurprising that “Below Deck Mediterranean” is on this path, given Season 9’s sizable build on Season 8’s viewership. According to 35-day data where available, the new season has improved on last year’s viewership by 16%, with 26% growth when isolating for adults 18-49.
