BBC Breakfast viewers rushed to social media to comment after they were left convinced that Naga Munchetty let out a swear word live on air.
The presenter was at the helm of the BBC One news programme on Friday (March 31) alongside Roger Johnson. The pair were discussing the latest news headlines when they mentioned the news that Thomas Cashman has been found guilty of fatally shooting nine-year-old Olivia Pratt-Korbel as he chased a convicted drug dealer into her home in Liverpool last year.
As she introduced the upcoming segment on the verdict, Naga said: "Merseyside Police said it'll hunt down those who helped Thomas Cashman after he was convicted of the murder of nine-year-old Olivia Pratt-Korbel." One viewer shared the clip on Twitter and said: "Pretty sure Naga just dropped the C-bomb in #BBCBreakfast." Another tweeted: "#BBCBreakfast Merseyside Police said they’ll do what?? #Naga." A third said: "That sounds as much of a C bomb.
