Bargain Hunt fans were left unimpressed when an off-camera incident resulted in a sculpture being auctioned for far less than it was valued at.

Chaos descended when a valuable item was damaged in transit during an episode of the BBC One show back in April. Bargain Hunt, which will be back on screens on Saturday, 8 June, saw pals Ivor and Joe delighted with their finds at a Lincolnshire antiques centre, which included an Old English Sheepdog sculpture.

In their hour-long search for treasures, the pair fell in love with the figurine and they managed to bag it for £75 after some serious negotiation.

Antiques expert Catherine Southon estimated that Ivor and Joe could potentially turn a profit, should they find the right buyer for the sculpture.
