The whole family can eat at Asda cafes for £8.50 under a new deal for the summer. Its kids eat for £1 menu has already been a massive success, but the supermarket has taken things a step further by launching half price adult meals.
Dishes, costing £3.25, includes the likes of lasagne, fish and chips, chicken tikka masala and steak and ale pie served with mash and peas. It was recently refreshed to include new vegan and healthy meal options. The new summer deal, which launched on June 29 and runs across the main school holidays, applies in every Asda cafe from 3pm onwards.
From this Friday, it will also offer 16" pizzas for £4 until September 4. Kris Comerford, Asda’s chief commercial officer, said: "We know when families are preparing for the school holidays it can often mean an additional strain on household budgets. "Our Kids' £1 café meal deals continue to provide a lifeline to families as we’ve served over 1.7m meals since launch.
