Fast forward to today, and Angelina Jolie has been spotted incorporating the cape into her elegant contemporary wardrobe. Out in New York City with her family, the 47-year-old Hollywood star wore a chic ensemble comprising a cream silk slip dress with thrown over the top.

The look was topped off with a black leather Saint Laurent clutch bag and a gold pair of pointed toe heels.
