My mum had colitis, my nana had colitis and anyone that has had those diseases knows that it just knocks you out and it’s horrible."It can debilitate you and make you feel like s**t for quite a while..."You just want to crawl into a ball with a hot water bottle and nothing really helps."IBS causes painful symptoms such as stomach cramps, bloating, diarrhoea and constipation.While the symptoms tend to come sporadically, the condition is usually a lifelong problem which can only be managed with diet changes and medication.Despite what medical research says, Amanda claims to have found her own 'cure' for the functional gastrointestinal disorder.Previously revealing how her flare ups seem to be linked to anxiety, Amanda revealed that her partner, stunt performer, Jonathan Goodwin, takes good care of her when she's sick and suggested to hypnotise her one day as she was in so much pain.
