Aldi donates more than 160,000 meals to North Lanarkshire communities since launch of initiative four years ago

More than 160,000 meals have been delivered to communities across North Lanarkshire by Aldi since the supermarket giant launched its food donations initiative in 2019.In partnership with community giving platform Neighbourly, all of the firm's stores in North Lanarkshire are linked up with foodbanks, charities and community groups, who receive surplus food year-round.The 160,480 meals donated in North Lanarkshire were among the 30 million meals overall presented to good causes since the campaign was unveiled four years ago.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
