Three people charged after Glasgow park 'incident' with man found injured

Three men have been charged after an alleged incident at a Glasgow park left one man injured.Police were called to Govanhill Park in the south of the city at around 11.50pm on Friday, March 10.A 56-year-old man who was walking through the park was rushed to hospital after being injured.

He has since been discharged. Officers on Friday confirmed three men, all aged 21, have now been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

They are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Saturday.A spokesperson for the force said: "Police Scotland can confirm that three men have been arrested and charged in connection with an incident in which a man was seriously injured in Govanhill Park."The incident happened around 11.50pm on Friday, 10 March, 2023 as a 56-year-old man was walking through the park.

He suffered serious injuries as a result and was taken to hospital. He has since been discharged."Three men, all aged 21, have now been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
