X Factor star lined up to be new regular on Celebrity Gogglebox
ok.co.ukFormer X Factor star Tulisa Contostavlos is set to take her TV career to the next stage, as she's due to appear on Channel 4's Gogglebox.
According to The Sun, Tulisa, 34, will join her cousins and N-Dubz band mates Dappy, 36, and Fazer, 36, on Celebrity Gogglebox, following their smash-hit tour of the UK.
A TV source said: "Gogglebox bosses are always looking for new stars to sign up and after N-Dubz made their comeback last year it seemed like a no brainer. "All three of them don't hold back when it comes to their opinions so mix that with the fact they are all related it's the perfect new dynamic for the show." Singer Tom Grennan also recently revealed that he would be taking part in the celebrity series, where he will be joined by none other than his dad.
He said: "I’ve said to him to be ready to become a national treasure. "We’ve always been fans of the show and are both buzzing to be part of it." Meanwhile, Tulisa has filmed a BBC documentary titled Tulisa: My Mum and Me in 2011, where the singer looked at life for young people in Britain caring for a parent with mental health issues, as she has done for her mother, who has schizoaffective disorder, since childhood.
