The Los Angeles Dodgers secured another win Monday during Game 3 of the World Series, with 13.2M viewers tuning in to watch the first of three potential matchups in the Bronx.
That’s about on par with Game 2, both of which were down a few million compared to the first game of the Series. It was also the most-watched World Series Game 3 in six years, since the Dodgers went head-to-head with the Boston Red Sox, raking in 13.3M viewers.
The audience peaked around 9 p.m. ET at a high of 14.3M viewers. Overall, viewership was up 63% from last year’s Game 3, when just 8.1M tuned in for the Rangers-Diamondbacks third outing.
This is already the most-watched World Series in years, as was expected given the rare East Coast-West Coast matchup between these two storied baseball franchises.
