Vehicles smashed up after major four-car crash on busy main road in Bolton
manchestereveningnews.co.ukDramatic pictures have shown the aftermath of a major crash involving four vehicles in Bolton. Police and fire crews blocked off Manchester Road in Over Hulton following the smash on Saturday afternoon (May 20).
Witnesses reported the crash, outside Dearden's Farm, also involved elderly people and children. Five people were able to pull themselves out of the vehicles involved before crews arrived.
A number of police vehicles as well as crews from the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene shortly before 3.30pm.
