Tributes have poured in for a woman who was found dead in Glasgow on Tuesday afternoon. Sandie Butler was found seriously injured after police were called to a report of a disturbance on St Mungo Avenue in the Townhead area of the city.The 40-year-old was pronounced dead a short time later.
Following a post-mortem examination on Wednesday, detectives confirmed they are treating the death as murder.Following the shock news, friends took to social media to pay tribute to Sandie.
Lorraine Grant wrote: "Omg Sandie, I'm so so sorry to hear this. I'll never forget the help you gave my sister, my thoughts are with your family and friends at this sad time xxx"Charmain Hunter added: "Omg no not Sandie she was such a lovely person.
I met her the day she came to Ness and kept in touch since. Oh doll, my heart breaks for u pet. RIP Sandie, 'til we meet on the other side xoxoxo"Maud Skieff chimed: "Really sad hearing this.
