Doug Emhoff To Appear On MSNBC’s ‘Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell’ From Nevada

As Kamala Harris reaches the final stretch of her presidential campaign, husband Doug Emhoff is meeting the press. The second gentleman will appear Friday at 10pm ET on MSNBC for an interview on The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell about the stakes of the race as he and Vice President Harris campaign in Nevada ahead of next week’s Election Day.

Emhoff’s appearance comes after recent visits to The Jennifer Hudson Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live, where he opened up about how he shows his support on the campaign trail. “The last thing I am going to do is give [Kamala] advice on something she is really awesome at,” he told Kimmel. “If she asks me something I will let her know what I think but we really try to keep that separate because we really want to be there for each other, our family, our kids, all that stuff.” Harris previously gave an impassioned closing argument on Tuesday in front of the White House, where an estimated 75,000 people were reportedly in attendance. “These United States of America, we are not a vessel for the schemes of wannabe dictators,” she said. “The United States of America is the greatest idea of humanity ever devised, a nation big enough to encompass all our dreams, strong enough to withstand any fracture or fissure between us, and fearless enough to imagine a future of possibilities.” The vice president added, “I pledge to seek common ground and common sense solutions to make your life better.
