Steven J. Horowitz Senior Music Writer Following the announcement of his new album “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” the Weeknd is planning to release the project’s first single “Dancing in the Flames” this Friday.
The Weeknd premiered the song during his “One Night Only” performance in São Paulo, Brazil, this past Saturday. “Dancing in the Flames” will be accompanied by a music video shot entirely on Apple’s freshly announced iPhone 16 Pro, directed by Anton Tammi alongside director of photographer Erik Henrikkson.
A behind-the-scenes clip that debuted during Apple’s “It’s Glowtime” event earlier today shows how Tammi shot the music video on the new device, talking up its ability to record in 4K 120fps in Dolby Vision and its post-production capacities.
