Maurizio Sarri won't be looking forward to a trip to face Feyenoord - and a cautionary tale from his last time there might mean Celtic aren't either.The Lazio boss has been reunited with their Europa League foes from last season as they landed in the same Champions League group alongside Celtic and Atletico Madrid.
The Serie A side beat Feyenoord comfortably on home turf a year ago but it was the return game at the famously intense De Kuip that made the Italian headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Boss Sarri was left furious with the home support after the game, he claimed fans behind the dugout threw "bags" of urine at him and his staff. "There were bags of p*** being thrown from the stands against the dugout," Sarri said in his post-match press conference. "It goes without saying: that is quite irritating." While Sarri's exact claim is unverified, Dutch outlet VL note that footage from the stadium showed "at least one catheter" was thrown towards the boss.
It wasn't the only fluid thrown at the dugout, in which Brendan Rodgers and his team will be sitting on Tuesday night, either.
